With my next pc build coming soon most cases i like don't have a ODD anymore and i still watch dvds on my pc and burn some stuff time to time.What would be the best usb dvd rom/burner to get ?

I would get any with good user reviews. Since all you do is watch DVDs it wouldn't matter much of drive speeds...

I'm actually looking at mounting a slot load laptop drive underneath my chassis. However my case sits quite high off the floor. 

Sync RGB fans with motherboard RGB header.
