SLI or Crossfire?

I had the same problem. You have to swap the slots they are in. It seemingly can't stress multiple GPUs.

I would stay away from Furmark though as it's terrible for actual validating stability of hardware, due in part to the nature of the program, and also because drivers for both AMD and NVIDIA throttle the GPU, so peak clocks won't even be hit.
