Not being sarcastic, you can ACTUALLY update the BIOS with a CD/DVD.

That is VERY rare sight to see, IMO.

What Operating System are you using?

For the M57 6072, I see two BIOS versions available:

https://pcsupport.lenovo.com/ca/en/products/desktops-and-all-in-ones/thinkcentre-m-series-desktops/thinkcentre-m57/6072/downloads

Click on BIOS/UEFI >> Flash BIOS update- ThinkCetre M57, M57p

You'll see a bunch of options; would recommend you use either:

  • Flash BIOS update (diskette version) - Utilities Diskette
  • Flash in Windows Package

AMD Ryzen 9000 Rig

  • AMD R7 9800X3D + Alphacool CORE 1 w/ Performance Mount Kit + Thermal Grizzly AM5 Contact Frame

You need to put in a compatible CPU back into the motherboard first...

You said you still have the other CPU.

That site is weird, it's support for 6072 but the bios files it shows there are for 6393-6395. BUT I noticed, at least in my case, it's choosing Windows 8 by default in Operating Systems (I'm not using Windows 8 so it's not some weird autodetection >.>), but if you uncheck the OS choice it'll show more BIOS file options, so maybe that's what you're looking for?
