So my buddy is having trouble playing fortnite on his mac I though its a shitty mac so it probs dosent meet the min specs but heres what he has

 

I5-4th gen

16gb of ram

R9 M290X

 

Now im not sure why but he sets it to 1080 and at all low he can barley get 60 like wtf is there a setting we need to change or somthing because I have a old pc that has a i5 2500 and a gtx 660ti and it works fine so why cant this play it?

Ask the developers. They are probably using OpenGL or some bs to render the game.
