Audio crackling windows 10

Hello,

I have an issue with Windows 10 audio. Sound is skipping and crackling from time to time. Have tried everything google said - disable enchantments, reinstall drivers, change sample rates etc.

PC is ryzen 1600, 16gb ddr4, gtx1080, gigabyte b350 gaming 3, some ssds, soundblaster Z

sound goes to Onkiyo reciever via optical cable and is running in DTS Connect mode.

Any ideas?  I even cleaned the reciever and put an cooling fan on top of it, but seems it getting hot was not the issue. Latency issue? Something with ASIO?

Did you try to increase input lateency? If it is too low, that can be a cause of the problem.

Purify your Windows 10/11, don't give Microsoft anything that you don't want to share.

How could I do that? :P

Do you have a software from Creative that goes with Soundblaster? If no, try ASIO4ALL, you can configure input latency in it.
