Motherboard for i7 8700k

hi there!!

I have a i7 8700k and i am between 3 boards.

The Asus Maximus x HERo and the Aorus Gaming 7 (in the same range)

And a $100 dollar cheaper Aorus Gaming 5.

Im not an OC guy, perhaps, in the future a little but not extreme.

The rest of the computer is, 16gb of ram (32 total in the future), 1070gtx, the cooler for the i7 its a noctua nd h15.

Im a photographer that also edit video. so its for Premiere, after effects, and lightroom.

And of course, gaming.

Thanks!

Unless the sex appeal of the more expensive MB is worth the $100 to you, save the money. Put it into a nice pretty ultrawide display :)

You'll never notice the difference in day to day use. What motherboard you chose is really a visual thing; As long as a given board has all the features you will be using, it doesn't make a difference.

Puget Systems validated the Aorus Gaming 5 for all their z370 (atx) systems, workstations and gaming ones...

i would take their word for it but i suggest you  look into reviews for the other options as well

if you can save $100 on the mobo you can spend it on anything else

Have you checked Taichi Z370? It's one of the best bang for buck, good features of a high end and extremely good overclocker, in case you want to overclock in the future.

i think ill be going for the hero or the gaming 7.

To many doubts, for the change to gigabyte.

But $40  of difference.

Tanks to everyone.
