Ok y'all, i got 2 questions

 

i have a samsung ua32d4000 and im wondering if i can use it on my pc *if i plug it into a video card*

when i use my ps4 it says its 1080p but when i use a laptop (i5 3337u*) its 768p

 

so im wondering if i use my upcoming pc (i5 7400) will it be 1080p? Will it work?

The actual display is 768p. I have no idea why you get 1080p when using with PS4.

You didn't set the proper resolution on your laptop. Plug the TV into it and go into Display Settings (right click on your desktop) and choose the either extend the displays (two separate images) or show only on the TV. Then change the resolution on the TV to 1920x1080 or whatever your television's native resolution is.

Edit: the TV you have has a native resolution of 1366x768, but it's taking in the 1080p signal from the PS4. They'll do that, but 1366x768 would look better.

Most 1366×768 TVs wil tell the connected device that they support 1920×1080, they can receive 1080p images but just scale them down to 768. This is so that they can advertise "supports 1080p" on the box.
