C920 + OBS not working properly

(Sorry, i didnt know which topic to post this under)

 

I run the technical side of my friend's stream, and their C920 webcam works fine on skype etc, but on OBS it freezes up after about 30 seconds to 2 minutes later, then you have to unplug it or refresh the source on OBS. I've reinstalled drivers and messed with just about every possible OBS setting, does anyone know anything about this? OBS forums don't seem to know what's up, so I turned to you guys because you always manage to help me out

Looks like a driver error, does it work on any other device?

It works fine on a Macbook Air 2015 (or just the one before they removed the USBs). Is there some way to fix the drivers more than just uninstalling them from device manager & control panel?
