Should i buy a 2nd hand gtx980ti?

Guys i found a gtx980ti extreme for 400€. But not sure if it ok quality wise. May be its damaged or something else happens later on. I am ok with giving 100 more for 1070 but they re out of stock.

The price is inflated too much (more like 300-350€), not recommending that unless it's in pristine condition.

While not a 'Bad' Price it isn't a great one either. The current market is also fcked because of the mining things happening.

You would think Ubisoft would support the Bulldozer based architectures more given their digging themed names like bulldozer, Piledriver, Steamroller and Excavator.

That's about the price of a used one here in the states (based on eBay's sold listings filtered by most reason; adjusted for currency). If you do your homework (see it run, preferably a FurMark stability test, get GPU-Z screenshots), then it's probably worth it given performance compared to a 1070 and price of the 1070 (when it's in stock). Until you buy, keep looking for deals. If the seller refuses to show you proof that it runs, then abstain from even considering the card.

If you're buying it from a company or someone you trust, I'd say yes. EBay tends to be a good place because of the 180 day Guarantee.

I was going to buy one b4 everyone on ebay decided to charge an extra £100 for the same card they listed for £300-350.

I purchased a 980ti second hand off eBay and had a good experience. Just make sure you check their feedback and also that they arent brand new to eBay
