I have a very simple problem and seem completely incapable of solving it.
I currently have a cheap metal/glass corner desk i bought off of Amazon, it serves me well but i also just built a new computer that's markedly heavier than my last one, and even then i didn't want to trust the glass surface with the weight of the computer.
But it seems a crime and a huge waste to put this glass side panel and all my work on the floor.

So that puts me in the market for either a simple table the size of a nightstand that i can put next to the desk, reserved just for the tower, or a new desk entirely.
Problem being, I have two large monitors that i'm hoping to expand to three, and i'm very particular about the placement of my speakers, as i do sound work
So if i'm to buy a new desk, it has to be rather large to accommodate all that AND the tower
And if i'm to buy a small table, it can't be my grandmother's bedside table, it has to be aesthetically in line with the sort of modern minimalist look i'm going for. It also has to be built solidly enough to support the weight of an S340 Elite and the computer residing inside it.

Advice? Suggestions? Feel free to chime in with pictures of setups and where you got your stuff, the latter being slightly more important.
I'm trying to keep cost down as much as possible, as in under $150 or so, but if i can't afford it now i wouldn't mind more expensive solutions to work towards later.

This might not work for you but when I was shopping for a new desk all the options were way too expensive. For $100 I went to home depot, bought a couple of doors and lumber and built a desk to fit the space perfectly. Its not the most aesthetically pleasing solution but it has served me well for 3 years now.

That's also an option i was considering, the DIY approach, but i don't know much about carpentry or what i should coat the surface with, if anything, and i don't really have much in terms of tools either

What is your budget?

Honestly if you're near an ikea avoid their sit stand desks...they're awful and reviews to back that up, but their kitchen counter tops are great!  If you can get a long enough piece just get some alex drawers and plop the top on 2 drawers, granted I may suggest adding a leg in the middle for stability.

If you got $$$, uplift, autonomous, jarvis, evodesk, etc are great options.

uplift has the largest desktop of any of them.

Do you live near an IKEA? They often have pretty good table/desks that are reasonably priced.

I don't actually, and what's more, I drive a convertible lmao

Are you in a driving distance (4-5 hours) from an ikea?  I'm in South Dakota so it's about a 4 or so hour drive and I too drive a small car but would rent a truck.

At an expensive flat rate.. It makes no sense what so ever to have ikea ship anything to you, unless you're furnishing an entire house it's a waste of money and better yet I'd drive the 4-5 hours and rent a truck and what it'd cost to ship the stuff to me I'm spending half that on a rental and gas!

It definitely is within driving distance, it's just out of the way and I don't have any other excuse to be in that area. And likewise, renting a vehicle adds to my already limited budget. Seems I'm going to have to bite the bullet anyway though :(

So you'd not suggest ordering a preset desk online then? I have seen some appalling reviews on some Ikea products listed on Amazon but it's kind of the option I had been considering

Good suggestions tho, will keep everything in mind

Well, overall here's an issue I'm seeing if you're going with a wooden desk. Depending on the construction of the surface itself, it may sag. I had a table and the only the thing on the middle was a monitor and it was sagging.

So any table you want to use as a desk be sure to find something with support braces that run across the surface.

I was going to suggest Ikea, but since you don't live close to one that makes it a little more difficult.

If you're going DIY, I'd just get a couple sheets of plywood, a few 2x4s, and some molding. Surround the outside of one sheet with 2x4s laid down, screw the other plywood sheet to it, then paint and screw the trim to the outside. You could add a custom glass top, apply a very dark window tint to one side, and you'd have a great desk. Legs could be simple 4x4 posts. Then at last you'd have exactly what you want.

Haha, what? That's an awful lot of effort to save a few bucks.

Drills can be had extremely cheap, and as for cutting, most hardware stores will cut wood for you. Usually it's a charge per cut, but it's quite low.

It's a wobbly desk, but because I live in a townhouse so mounting some fast adjustable shelving brackets and then using L brackets isn't possible, I mean I could... I just don't want to.  When I buy a house I'll be doing that though.

You'd want 4 of the same pieces of wood so you get a good enough desk when I basically did a DIY desk back in 2012 I only had 3...  but it worked, would have been better with a 4th row of wood though.
