New headphones

Hi, I am looking for new headset. I will use them for gaming and listening to music on pc and phone. My budget is about 50$. I would like to have mic that can be removed. Now I am using Philips SHL3000BL. Thanks for help.

My pick would be Monoprice Retros and a Modmic. But you have to wait a few weeks for the headphones to come back in stock.

It will be hard to find something with a decent mic for 50.00$ so my suggestion to you would be to pickup the following:

 

One of these decently priced headphones I personally have owned the XPT 100's and they are a great all around headphone I can game on them and enjoy youtube and music as well.  I have heard good things about the CB1's as well for the price.

 

AudioTechnica AT-M20X ---- 50.00$

NVX XPT 100 ---- 69.00$

Phillips SHP9500 ----- 73.00$

Status CB1  ---- 60.00$

 

For mic's I would suggest:
 

Massdrop Mini-mic - middle ( I personally own this mic and regardless of what people say about the fastening system I have no had an issue with it )

Zalman lapel mic - Cheapest

Antlion mod mic - most expensive

 

Everything there can be found at amazon.com or .ca with exception of the massdrop mini mic that can be found at www.massdrop.com.

Remember you get what you pay for extending your budget to 75-100$ will get you a much better setup then sub 50.00$

Thanks for reply. I really like your choice. I said 50$ because in my country prices are very high. For example AudioTechnica AT-M20X are 75$. Shipping from amazon to Croatia is complicated and expensive.

The best I can think of for $50:

 

- Samson SR850 or Monoprice Retro for around $30

- Sony ECM-CS3 mic for around $20

 

Yeah, it's a separate mic and headphone setup. But it's the best you can do for $50

I apologize I was unaware.  Hopefully you can find something decent for your price range.
