larger and two fans

better cooling

overclock

get more hash/watt

Samsung 850 EVO 240 GB 

138 is a good number.

Asus one cools better, which is good for a card that will run for long periods of time.

Nah they are the same for the most part, specially since it is for mining just get the cheapest overclocking hardly adds performance while in many cases can increase electricity consumption high enough to make you not earn as much money, some nvidia cards sucks a hell lot of juice compared to stock when you go full overclock.

I have X58 mobo so I can over clock any gpu?

 

I will buy the 6gb for an extra $5, better for resale and 10% jump on that Sol #

GPU overclock ability doesnt depend on mobo.

GPUs unlike CPUs are all unlocked for overclocking, meaning you can overclock with any card you want all it takes is have a utility for it like msi afterburner.

 

at 1060 point cooling is not as meaningful as you'll reach the silicon limit of the card before thermals are an issue most of the time, meaning a beefier cooler makes better sense if you're getting something higher end like a 1070 Ti and on.

After the fiasco, I'd stay away from Nicehash. If you are new to mining (I don't mine), but UFDTech (formerly UFDesciple) covers a lot of that mining content. Maybe give him a look too. He does a lot of Q&A on both Twitch and Skype regularly. I'd say atleast every Friday, as well as mid week. He's in South Africa, but he's pretty good. I just don't really like his cracky voice. He sounds a lot younger than he is.

6GB gpu's will be better for resale.

 

CPU power and ram dont matter in this game.
