So to cover ground quickly I had an issue with lagging in games which i had an entire post about, you can read it here

I figured out that i was having a graphics driver issue and was reccomended to get DDU, uninstall all the old drivers and that this would probably solve the problem.

I did a ''Clean and restart'' ''Clean and do Not restart'' and ''Remove GeForce Experience'' Which seems to have worked right because in my device manager its not recognizing my GPU, only Microsoft Basic Driver Adapter.

The real problem comes when i try to install new drivers to replace the Microsoft one, going on Nvidia's website i downloaded and tried 3 of the most recent ones for my card and each time i try to download them it fails on the first step sitting at ''Checking system compatibility'' forever and never moving forward.

I also downloaded GeForce experience only to have the same problem, it sits at ''Preparing to install'' for hours not moving. Help?

You HAVE to restart after DDU. Some files might not be completely removed and a restart is required to make sure the uninstall is complete.

When you start the Nvidia driver installation, don't do the Express setting, chose Custom and select the "Perform clean install" ;
