Yeah this is why I am asking if it is worth the cost. It is always a matter of price to performance. It will probably cost me around 100 Euros more to buy the 8600k with mobo and cooler.

ryzen 1600 is a pretty capable CPU, of course there is always better performance. Better performance per dollar i don't think so.

Until a few months before coffee lake everybody was happy it the 1600, so...

Are you saying that the integrated gpu is going to be faster than a 1060 6gb?

Well the i7 8700k is of course the best option but it is too expensive for me

No the ryzen APU's iGPU should be faster than a 7850 1GB

Best peformance, is not best option, the best option for you current situation IMO, is an APU on feb 12th due to insane GPU pricing, the APU should be pretty alright for 1080p gaming, and it's only going to be $169, basically an R5 1400 + RX 550 for cheap

Also your box is going to run cooler/quieter than with a 7850 in it, but that's minor.

I edit my posts a lot, Twitter is @LordStreetguru just don't ask PC questions there mostly...

Spoiler

What is your budget/country for your new PC?

what monitor resolution/refresh rate?

What games or other software do you need to run?

Is it really the same performance like literally? Cool I didn't know that.

a 1600x is simply a 1600 that didn't require above a certain voltage to reach a specific clock frequency, basically the X chips are the "binned" to be more efficient chips, but at there core ALL Ryzen chips are the same chips, literally all the way up to threadripper they all use the same CCX modules, the difference is how many cores in the module are functional and how much power is required to reach a certain clockspeed.
