Hi Guys

I'm upgrading my setup and next on the list is a mouse. These are the mice i'm looking at buying:

  • Logitech G502
  • Razer Deathadder Elite
  • Corsair Glaive
  • Asus Gladius II

My grip style is like a hybrid palm in which im not fully gripping the mouse. My palm hits the back of the mouse but my fingers float and inbetween the joint/ball/knuckle closest to the tip and the tip of the finger is where my finger makes contact with the mouse buttons. So its a mix between fingertip and palm grip style.

Any help is appreciated and if you have a mouse recommendation, I would love to hear it.

I have the G502 and it's perfect. I use claw and palm and it's not too bad. Tracking is accurate as hell and it's just perfect.

Those mice are for large hand roughly 18cm L and 9cm W.

Usually u want a light mice for FPS under 100Grams if u can and has only the necessary features and buttons for FPS.

As for which is the best from your list is the deathadder it uses PMW3398 razer own version of PMW3360 which is one of the best optical sensor.

Deathadder is one of the best FPS mice for large hand if not the best selling mice ever.

Other suggestion would be the Zowie EC1B and the G403.

Personally I love the Deathadder (If we disregard all the Razer problems) I just love the shape and the simplicity with the 2 buttons. But a lot of this has to do with preference.

Many people say that the Asus Gladius 2 has a sort of deathadder shape. The Gladius also comes with replaceable mouse 1 and mouse 2 buttons. it has a detachable cable.

Ok so u want a heavy mice for FPS that strange but its okay.

In that case the Steelseries Rival 700 weighted 137grams but it has stupid gimmick like vibration and oled display and its a bit pricey.

The other mice would be the new rival 600 (not sure if its available yet) u can use the custom weight to make it 127grams if i am not mistaken.

and last is the Rival 500 and M65 PRO.

The 500 has 6 extra side buttons and 3 top button with PMW3360 sensor so u'll have extra button at your disposal weighted around 125grams.

And the M65 pro use PMW3360 sensor with 2 side button and 1 sniper button its a big heavy mice with aluminum build weighted around 135grams if u use the custom weight.

Or just buy the G502 and call it a day the weight is 147grams with the added weight.

But the shape isnt the most comfortable especially for FPS.

Then just pick one Rival 700/600,M65 pro or G502

Alright then.

I think you should use either the Zowie ECB1 or the SteelSeries Rival 600. The G502 Proteus Core is very good, but I didn't think it was very comfortable for fps (my grip is very similar to what you are describing and I fit a medium hand size, although I like bigger mouse better for some reason.) The G403 is also a very solid option.

Better FPS specific mice out there apart from G502 (which is very capable, but a little heavy IMO).

The only reason to 'have' to get the G502 is the additional buttons. It's a great mouse, I have used it since it came out.
