I have a ASUS Radeon RX480 Dual O4G I have a AMD FX8320E CPU and it is on a ASUS Pro gaming 970 Aura Mother board. I keep getting stuttering   during online game play in games like SC2, Leauge, and World of Tanks. I am guessing it has to do with my FX8320E CPU holding back my RX480 so I was going to upgrade to the new Ryzen platform and get the Ryzen 3 1200 and I was wondering if I will still have the same problem with the Ryzen 3 1200 as I did with my FX8320E. I am using 4 EVGA 4GB 2133 DDR3 ram sticks in my system.

i would get a ryzen 5 1400 as minimum. yes it will help, for now though you can play with the graphical settings and see which settings are making it stutter.

you can look at cpu and gpu usage when playing, and find out if you are bottlenecking that way.

yup, and one email for new content until you return to cut down on the amount. don't like it? then stop bitching about it. It's not the respondents problem you can't be bothered to be notified when you ask a question of them.

It is standard practice in this forum to quote people. I invite you to try and impose your new view to all forum users.

Now, on topic, it is definitely your CPU as RX 480s can push 100+ FPS in League etc. if not bottlenecked.

But we're the ones offering help, we shouldn't have to make it our job to follow the thread or keep checking back to it so we know if they're "complying" so to speak with our offers to help by answering any questions we may ask for troubleshooting.

Makes it easier for everyone to just quote someone when you're answering a question of theirs.

OP, download MSI afterburner and have the overlay running, monitor GPU, CPU and RAM usage.

I'll have a guess that it's your CPU though, what settings/resolution are you playing?

it is using 2GB of my pc ram and 43% of my vram on my GPU it says my GPU usage under task manager is 0% and my pc is at 40% that I can see I have to switch betwen the game and windows to see it but I think the GPU usage is really higher but it always says GPU usage 0%

You could try msi afterburner and their on screen software to display and overlay or your hardware usage on the game or set up their android app.

If your cpu is the problem you could always try overclocking it. As far as I know the E 83xx are just underclocked versions with a lower base clock.

could be a glitch in task manager. I recommend you use HWMonitor or Afterburner to monitor actual GPU usage. The CPU is low powered compared to today's offerings, but i can't help but wonder if perhaps the driver is out of date if system RAM is fine...?

They don't care, not really. Does it really bother you at all if this person's problem doesn't get resolved? *chuckle* not very likely... in fact for what other reason are you here but to chastise me for stating the obvious? you've not offered any help whatsoever to the OP's problem... Yet you come in here, guns blazing, defending the others promoting 'we're all here to help.'

Such hypocrisy.

Let's be honest, There's probably less than 1/100th of the membership that actually cares to resolve a problem a thread starter or respondent has, and they are the mods, the admins, and the venders. everyone else couldn't give a shit if it's fixed or not.

What proof do you have that only a tiny fraction of this community cares? Who are you to say this?

I am "chastising" you because you are accusing us of not caring, with no evidence at all.

Define me what "really" caring is characterised by. Tell me why you care and others don't. Surely it doesn't boil down to pressing a follow button or quoting people.

Try overclocking your cpu to at least 4.5 ghz to try and squeeze a little more life out of your system, then wait for ryzen+ to come out in april and see if you'd like to upgrade.
