Hopefully next year im going to be building a gaming rig it isn't going to be fully water cooled or anything but here are the specs so far.

 

Case- Fractal Design Define R4 (Windowed)

Mobo- Asus Z87 Pro

CPU- Core i7 4770 (Haswell)

RAM- 8GB Corsair Vengeance memory

Cooler- Corsair H80i (2013)

GPU- 4GB AMD Radeon R9 290x

Storage- 256Gb Sandisk Ultra Plus

OS- Windows 8.1 Pro

Monitor- Asus PA248Q

PSU- 650W Corsair RM series (Modular)

 

Is this a good config or is there anything I can choose better

(im keeping the 290x because its the best I can afford)

Well to me, it looks like a really nice build ;) Are you going to do some OverClocking, because then you should get a K-version of the CPU ;)

I'm not trying to be an expert, just trying to help where i can. You can freely decide if you like my advise or not.
