I need a laptop that is entirely designed for editing in programs such as After Effects, Photoshop and Premiere Pro. I'm not rich so i would prefer a laptop that is around £1000 ($1500) but i am willing to pay up to £1500 ($2000) if needed. The requirements are as follows:

- Hardware -

- 16 GB Ram Min (Ram Preview Times Suck)

- Quad Core Cpu Min

- Needs To -

- Needs to be able to cope with 300 fps 1080p footage, possibly 1440p

- Needs to be able to real time render 1080p60fps videos with a very good fps in premier.

- It DOES NOT need to be good for gaming.

If you need anymore information then feel free to ask, thank you in advance :)

Do you know of any that are mildly cheaper with slower components?

The problem is, anything less than this will be quad core HT at best. You literally lose 50% cores and threads.

PC Specs - AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D MSI B550M Mortar - 32GB Corsair Vengeance RGB DDR4-3600 @ CL16 - ASRock RX7800XT 660p 1TBGB & Crucial P5 1TB Fractal Define Mini C CM V750v2 - Windows 11 Pro

as much as i love this laptop, OP is using adobe programs which are almost 100%single threaded, op would be better with a kaby lake r mobile chip

Premiere can take advantage of all 8 cores no problem. Scaling beyond 8 is utter crap, though. Single threaded performance is roughly the same, give or take 4-5% when the i7-8550U is at max turbo (which it can't sustain).

It is very easy to edit your preferences in any adobe product and allow for custom core usage, as long as overheating isn't a problem it usually works fine
