I just finished building my PC (going to be a NAS) and when I start it up, nothing shows on the screen. All of the fans (including CPU cooler) all turn on. Case power LED turns on. I rechecked all the connections and they look to be connected.

Ryzen 5 1400

Cryorig C7 cooler

G.Skill 8gb 2400

Asrock AB350 Gaming motherboard itx

4- WD RED 2tb HDD

EVGA 450B PSU.

You need a graphics card. Ryzen CPUs don't have integrated GPUs so without a dedicated GPU you're never gonna get anything to show up on the screen. I would recommend something along the lines of a GT 1030 for you

If its going to be a NAS, does it need a 100 dollar GPU? wouldn't a 40 buck one do the job just as well?

I suggested a GT 1030, that's just about as cheap as it gets buying new

"Buying new" is what I said. OP could certainly go cheaper if they wish by getting a used GPU
