I need a GPU!

Go to solution Solved by Luckris,

Start off with a GTX 760 or 770. In your price range, good cards!

Okay, so I need a new GPU for my system. I would like Nvidia. And price $200-$300. I have no idea what I am doing with the GPUs. When I applied like 10 filters to the newegg site i had almost 800 of them to choose from.

A MSI one would fit my Motherboard nicely. No ASUS. Unless it does not contain the color red or yellow.

My system is pretty good. But my GPU is a real let-down.

Specs:

Intel i5 3570K @ 4.0GHz

12GB of Kingston something RAM (Lol, i forgot)

MSI Z77A-G45

Corsair H100i

Corsair RM650 + White Cables

Nvidia GT610

WD Blue 1TB 7200RPM

Two Dell SR2320Ls

Its actually a good GPU for like normal stuff, it handles two monitors well. And Minecraft (I know) runs real nice. But YouTube and Minecraft at the same time is just a lag attack. I am waiting to get COD Ghosts. And Battlefield 4.

5800X3D - RTX 4070 - 2K @ 165Hz

 Thanks!

I will most likely be getting this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130949

Or something like it.

Unless you have a display over 1080P, like 1440P you will be fine with a 2Gb model which are like $250, or under most times.

From my experience, about 300+ years, you will need a quad sli titan set up if you want to play in 1080p with low settings.

  • 5 months later...

how the hell did that 610 even get in there?? if i may ask

I kinda built a gaming system and then forgot the GPU.

But I have the GTX 760 now. So I can play Euro Truck Simulator on Ultra with 3D at 60FPS V-Sync limit :)
