Intel Security Issues and 6700K Performance

Is anyone experiencing problems? I'm not going to say that my performance sucks, but do see frame drops, etc. after the security update. Also, super weird program closes randomly (battle.net, Corsair utility, etc)

so far on my 6600k, i am not experiencing anything, not frame drops occurring,i will be playing some destiny 2 later, so i can check that out and i can see if i am experiencing that, but so far in games like path of exile, league of legends nothing is dropping frames or closing, i also use the corsair utility engine

but also as a note, the fixes and updates shouldn't really be affecting consumers all too much, it will impact servers and professional grade software mostly from what i can gather

i've got a 7400, and on that i didn't notice anything really. 

 

my laptop is a different story. that has a 7200U, and usually my workload (20+ chrome tabs, spotify and one virtual machine) works fine. 

after the update, if i open a virtual machine and start using that, my music sometimes stutters and the machine "micro freezes" every now and then. like the mouse stops moving for 0.5 secs. 

 

but other than that, no. no issues. and if i don't use virtual machines on it it's fine. 

 

i mean, it's a little understandable, because it's only a dual-core cpu.
