Factory Reset stuck at 34%

I tried to Factory Reset my laptop because Im selling it and it got stuck at 34% for like a hour and a half. What she I do?

Perhaps just do a clean install?

Why did you reset it in the first place?

Because I'm selling it. Wanted the person to have a fresh start on the laptop without all my files and configurations everywhere

Oh laptop...

easiest way: pop out the hdd connect it in you pc and format.

put it back, then install windows from there.

 

second easy way : boot the laptop to the install disk, press install, next... next till you get to the install page, press new installation, in partition screen delete everything that you see, then click format button, select gpt (win 8/10) or mbr (win 7), click format, warning yada yada..., click ok then install windows

 

now your windows is refreshed back to factory....
