Hey guys i just did my first build and im not sure about the ram socket that i used my ram is 2400mhz but it shows that its curently runing on 1200mhz or im missing something??

You are using DDR4 RAM's. Double Data Rate. So double the number you see in programs like CPU-Z and got the actual speed.
