Need help choosing laptop

Hi guys,

I'm facing a dilema, if I should by a laptop now, with a backup from parents, or wait another month. I'm curently in need of a decent computer, since the only think I've in home is 10yo Toshiba laptop.

I'll be buying my computer in Slovakia, my budget is +-1000€. I'll use this laptop for productivity, gaming and sometimes I'll carry it to school, so bigger battery will be nice. Also an SSD is my requirement.

This are listed configurations of laptops, that check all my checkmarks, but I'd like to know your opinion on which one is the best. In my view, it's the Acer Predator.

  • Acer Nitro 5 - 999€
  1. Gtx1050ti, i5 7300hq, 128gb ssd+1tb HDD, 8gb ram, 15,6i display
  2. Heard has a really awful cooling solution
  3. Cheap design
  • Acer Aspire 7 - 1007€
  1. Same as nitro, but has 17i screen
  2. Probably thermal problems
  3. Better design, but pretty big for carrying to school
  • Acer Predator Helios 300 - 1018€
  1. Same as nitro
  2. Better thermals, small battery
  3. A lot better build quality
  • HP Pavilion 17-ab305nc - 928€
  1. Same as Aspire
  2. Literaly no reviews or opinions on this PC, seems like it exist only in Czechia and Slovakia
  3. Judging by other Pavilion ntbks, probably mediocre build quality
  • Dell Inspiron 15 7567 - 1010€
  1. Same as Nitro, but has a hybrid HDD versus the HDD+SSD
  2. Features only TN panel in my country, which is really poor
  3. Probably the best design and build quality among all of these
  • Dell Inspiron 7577 - 1100€+
  1. Too expensive for me

I don't know any other laptops in this price range, that will be appealing fot me and Clevo-based systems aren't sold in my country or any neighboring countries.

What do you think? What should I buy? Should I wait that one month? Do you have any other suggestions?

Thanks for your answers

Sorry for my english

OK some corrections. Nitro 5 has an OK cooling, not awful. It doesn't look cheap either (I tried it before). Helios 300 has about the same cooling with Nitro 5 so it has slightly worse thermals, also build quality is pretty much on par with Nitro 5 (not the best but not the worst either). Other facts are true.

Also, you can add RAM and SSD after purchase (depends on warranty policy)
