LAPTOP SSD UPGRADE?

I would like to add a 256 gigabyte SSD.

Is this compatible? Will upgrading void my warranty?

Yes but you'll either have to take out the hard drive or the optical drive

as long as there is a 2.5" hard drive inside your computer it could be replaced with an ssd. in regards to the warranty, it depends on the laptop so I am not sure about the Omen

also usually hdd and memory upgrade doesn't matter on factory warranty if you have a store warranty it does void it

I don’t think you can add an SSD without removing your HDD. Do you really want to give up 1TB of space for 256GB?

Your SSD Link does work but it's 99,9% compatible.

Oh yes, but only replacing the HDD, not adding an SSD.

the laptop doesnt come with an ssd now, doesnt it have an empty space for an SSD? The picture isnt mine, it is just a picture I found on google.

U can  use a NVMe SSD in the m.2 Slot.

SATA M.2 SSD also works, NVMe isn't worth it for normal consumer (no significant gains in real world/normal usage)
