Case - Noctua Fans?

Coconuts

Hi all!

Looking for some advice, i have a corsair 780t case, the fans are pretty loud even even when i set the case to low, i have 3 stock fans i got with the case two Noctua NF-F12PWM Case Fan 120 mm, I thinking the stock fans are the loud ones, if i was replace every fan in the case, leaning towards silent but good cooling, what would you recommend?

thanks!

The NF-F12 aren't all that much better than the cheapo fans that came with your case. It's designed with pressure in mind at the sacrifice of noise.

If you really care about your acoustics, i say replace them all with the NF-P12 models for 120mm or NF-A14/A15 for bigger models.

It's going to cost you bro.

First identify which components are too loud. You can use your hands to stop fans from spinning to see if the noise goes away.

You need not change your fans. You can hook them up to the motherboard with a splitter or a hub (silverstone has an 8-way fan hub with SATA power). Then use software like speedfan to tell them to run faster or slower.

We have a NEW and GLORIOUSER-ER-ER PSU Tier List Now. (dammit @LukeSavenije stop coming up with new ones)

You can check out the old one that gave joy to so many across the land here

When i tried doing that my fingers got spliced open. So i don't recommend that technique for 2000+rpm fans.

Agreed I was about to post this lol.

You can put them against the center hub that's spinning to stop them, that's way safer
