Buying an rx580 8gb make any sence because of the freesync?

ryzen 1300x,stock cooler,1 stick 8 gb ram,a320m motherboard(so no overclock),120gb ssd and a 1tb hdd

I personally have an RX 580 8GB w/ Asus MG248Q - 144hz/ 1ms /1080p /freesync/ and for 1080P gaming its a great experience.  I would recommend it as long as you find the 580 for a fair price.  Next upgrade would be to go with an extra 8GB of ram and you should have yourself a hell of a 1080P machine.

Feel free to ask any questions you got I have used this setup for over 8months now.

Cheers!

Thanks for the help!
I actually would ask you two things,

Isn't is bothering that it has a tn panel?

And in how many games the rx580 can reach the 144hz?

When i'm gaming I don't get bothered by the TN panel the colors look good enough,  even on the desktop and watching videos etc its looks better than most generic 1080/60hz displays.

I personally never owned an IPS until I got my girlfriend one for Christmas (BenQ ips 1440p 60hz ) this year and yeah its not nearly as accurate/clear as that monitor but you kind of have to sacrifice the accuracy, ips panel etc for must faster response time / higher hz unless your willing to spend ALOT of money on a 100-144hz 27" ips 1440p monitor that your rx 580 wont be able to push nearly as well as a 1080P screen.  Then if you did that you would have to step up to at least a 1070/1080 or vega 56 so you would looking at 500.00$+ upgrade.

So to answer your question at times now that I have access to the IPS panel monitor I notice that the TN isn't as good as I thought but I wouldn't trade it as I play CSGO/PUBG and the 144hz 1ms freesync is better suited to what I use it for.  In the future when I get a higher end GPU I will be going 1440p w/ 100-144hz etc but im fine with 1080P for now.

Depending on the settings you use the rx580 can hit 144 in alot of Esports titles (CSGO,Overwatch etc)  and with low/med settings in pubg with an OC'd Ryzen 1600 3.9Ghz I get 85-110 fps but this game its poorly optimized for the 580.  Battlefield and COD with the settings down a bit I was getting over 100fps and with the freesync and 144hz monitor its very smooth.

I would particularly say FreeSync is overated but if you have your eyes on a LG 29UM68-P 2560x1080p ultrawide for a display paired with the rx 580 which is indeed more powerful than a 1050 ti........... mh not a bad upgrade at all.

I agree,

Freesync/Gsync helps in some situations but can be hardly noticeable in some if you have a good enough screen with a high refresh rate and a decent gpu that can push 90+ frames your going to have a good experience.

Cheers
