Hello, my borther has a kind of low end computer

The specs are:

AMD A4-5000 quad core running at 1.5Ghz

6GB DDR3

1TB 7200RPM HDD

And the Integrated graphics

He wants to run not too demanding games such as

CS:GO

TF2

And GTA IV

But they dont run too well

And i was wondering if i could somehow get get as much as i can out of it

Heres the kicker

The PC has

0 PCIE slots except the one for the WIFI adapter, and that is only a 1x

Also its only cooling is a tiny heat sink on the laptop grade CPU

Ive tried to put a external fan on a open side of the case, and i dont know if that helps at all

Any suggestions

Or should i just get a new PC

I would grab an old i5 or i3 prebuilt for like $50-80 bucks and get a used 750 Ti. Of course, sell the old system if you don't need it.

Without replacing that cpu you'd be lucky to hit 50+ fps in TF2/CSGO and about 30 in GTA IV.

i know that..

So buy a new(or even used) PC.

You've given no budget but going off the current parts, i'd imagine his budget is pretty low. An old optiplex will be your best option, can be had for 100-150, throw in a used GPU like a 750ti, might need to upgrade the PSU too.

Grab an old Optiplex MT off of eBay with an Ivy Bridge i5, 8GB of RAM and a 500GB/1TB hard drive it in, drop in a 1050 or 560, have fun.

I enjoy buying junk and sinking more money than it's worth into it to make it less junk.
