I was looking at my computer manual. (Dell optiolex 960 sff) it said a nVidia GeForce 9300 Ge will work in the system but will the drivers work with Windows 10 or not???

They will work just fine, just make sure you install the ones appropriate for the card

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)

It's too slow for any games anyway. The 9300GE is pretty much a rebranded 8400GS.

PC Specs - AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D MSI B550M Mortar - 32GB Corsair Vengeance RGB DDR4-3600 @ CL16 - ASRock RX7800XT 660p 1TBGB & Crucial P5 1TB Fractal Define Mini C CM V750v2 - Windows 11 Pro

The only thing I’m going to do is play Terraria ( I always have some settings off in the game and have a fixed resolution of 1920x1080 so I get to stuff faster in the game) and use my drawing program Autodesk Sketchbook

exactly. 8000 and 9000 series cards are not worth it any more. can you get something more recent for a similar price ?

Even a GT710 or 730 would probably do. 1030 would be sweet.

It's SFF, 1030 LP would be the best choice.

If you can find 1050 or older 750ti (or non Ti) that's also okay.

The keyword here is, Low Profile.

Depend on your location, looking low profile card sometimes really hard to find.

The 9300GS is at best a display adapter nowadays, I have my doubts if it handles even a game like Terraria at 1080p... I know that userbenchmark is not super accurate but I mean it certainly gives us enough of an idea how much this graphics card has aged:
