Help needed for Intel HD(R) graphics

Hi guys,  my laptop(Hp probook 4520s)  makes use of intel core i3 2.4ghz 1st generation processor, intel HD(R) graphics ( i know its crap), 8gb ddr3 memory ....but when i installed windows 10 without installing the graphics driver and i had 4gb of shared video memory but after the installation i have 1.6gb of shared memory and 64mb vram,  what can I do to make the graphics card acces more ram. Thanks

um u cant it will auto use ram i think when it uses the vram up

It doesn't use the ram... Even low end games like assassins creed 1 runs at 10fps

I already downloaded the driver but the shared memory is 1.6gb while on my brothers laptop he has a core i3 6gb ram and he has 3gb shared memory

Or is 8gb ram too much for the graphics card to access... What if I replace one of the 4gb ram sticks with 2gb
