hello i finnaly fixed the problem was that when i pressed default settings at the bios then it wouldnt boot,then i openned the case and i saw the ram_led open,then i pressed the mem ok button and it succesfully booted up,and now im back on my desktop.

hello i went into uefi bios and chose for performance mode asus optimal when i did that i started up the pc again and all of a suden after about 1 min or so after the windows had booted up,The computer closed then i went into bios again and set it to standard or normal (i dont know how it is called) performance mode and then widnwos didnt boot up not even the startup logo didnt show up,the widnows logo.Then i pressed the reset button and it opened fine.Any suggestions what i might do?

So you choose a auto over locking mode and it failed? Also UEFI is not a type of BIOS it is the replacement for BIOS.

Hello my cpu is amd fx 8150. And my pc is custom built, can this be the problem.?sorr y for not answering sonrr but I was at schol.helo now I did open it up again and then I left but. When I came back the windowsnstartup reppair tool was saying at my scren windows is loading files and after about half an hour and I was gone for about ten minutes I presed the power buton and turned it off.then I tried starting windpws but after the windows logo apeared the pc. Restarted .then for somereason I went into the bios and preessed default on thr down right corner of the screen then I saved the changes and resetted as the dialog stated,and then nothinng blank screen then I pressed the power button and turnednit of but then the pc was powering up but at my screen it wss reading no singal.then I plugged off the pc and putted. My older one to its place turned it on and it was makig some. Cponstant cotinious noise llike beep,beep andthe screen was readi ng again no singal.sorryy for making this a. Long. Text.

Something has gone wrong inside BIOS. Clear CMOS and it should boot up fine. If not, then hold F8 down while its loading up and try to start windows in Safe mode. Guide how to clear CMOS is found on mobo manual.

Something has gone wrong inside BIOS. Clear CMOS and it should boot up fine. If not, then hold F8 down while its loading up and try to start windows in Safe mode. Guide how to clear CMOS is found on mobo manual.

hello I did reset tghe cmos through the jumper but the screen still says no singal,why would. I boot into safe mode when I don't know even if windows will get to desktop?I may gonna try this

Hello,I saw that the pc fans are all working but I think the pc dooesnt boot at all because with my keyboard I pressed shift and no light shoows up on the. Kkeyboard,therefore the pc doesn't even start and therefore tyhereis nothing for the scren to show.what do you thinkhas happened.?and. Why itdoesnt boot up anymore.and by the way my other computer booted up succesfully.

GG MOBO. Just kidding. Set up a bootable bios update via USB. Disconnect all IDE/SATA connections.

do you have the monitor on the right input? Could your GFX card be the issue? If you have another one around try popping it in.

Helo I think I fiund the prob it mght be the network cable cuz I powered up this older pc and then I putted the network cable in ad the screen went blank and the keyboard wasn't working either....
