  1. 1. Which one should i get?

    • Zotac GTX 1060 6GB MINI
    • Zotac GTX 1060 6GB AMP EDITION

Current Build:

PROC: Core i5-3470
PSU: FSP HEXA 500w
MOBO: ASRock H77 Pro4 MVP
GPU: Sapphire HD 7850 2GB GDDR5

Ram: 8GB Kingston RAM

Recently got the money for a 1060 6GB but im not sure if its compatible with my current setup or not. My motherboard PCI Express 3.0 x16 slot is faulty so my only option is to use the 2.0 x16. Will that be okay or will it really reduce the performance?

Currently im eyeing on the Zotac 1060 6gb Mini and AMP edition since they are both currently at the same price but are their performance the same only the difference is the cooling? Im leaning towards the Mini version

The reason for it is that i'm currently saving up money for a mini-itx build so i thought the mini version would be great for it but im scared it'll have heating issues because i wont be using liquid cooling on it.

Thanks in advance :)

Unless you're getting an extremely small case, just get the AMP version. It's as small as Zotac's other mini cards (1080, 1080Ti). There are very few cases that would necessitate the need for a true mini card.

Unless you plan on overclocking and playing with the card get the mini version. You'll get the same performance from both if running at stock and will future-proof yourself if you ever move onto the mini ITX build and need a sff GPU (small form factor)

okay thanks :)
