Budget Build

To make it cheaper?

Change the CPU to the G4560 or G4600. They will perform the same, but cost less.

Get a cheaper motherboard. Ideally, you shouldn't use Wi-Fi. Homeplug and ethernet are better solutions.

Maybe drop the SSD entirely. Or get a 250GB SSD and add a HDD later.

Change the PSU to one that isn't absolute crap. The CX450 costs $3 more and is miles better.

This one is in fact 34 cents cheaper, but will perform better. Also increased the SSD size and dropped the HDD down by 1Tb, and replace the PSU with a better quality one.

Also managed to save 30 cents(give or take) on the memory, you can always overclock that for Ryzen.

Why use a mITX not making it cheaper but your Case is an ATX, and that makes room for more expansion. Besides that i dot see how i could make this any cheaper. and i dont think a 1060 is much more expensive.

EDIT: So turns out 1060 is a bit pricey but this is already a sharp build. Get a decent SSD and a better power supply.

And the Crucial MX300 is less expensive and holds 275 GB.

Also, and this is a remote possibility. If you live in the US and live near a microcenter, you get $30 off when you pair a CPU with a compatible motherboard. Just a tidbit of info if it applies to you.

You also may be able to source a used GTX 980 on eBay or something for around that price. It will perform much better. #3.5GBofVRAM

Mine isn't as over budget as yours was though xD I haven't considered Crucial for SSDs  in a while, but I can certainly update my list to include it. OP said he wanted it cheaper, not more expensive. When you're on a tight budget it gets pretty hard to shell out an extra hundred(I know from experience).

The 1050Ti does perform a bit better, last I checked it was the king of the budget market.

Sky and Kaby I3s perform exactly the same as the G4560. None of them will be a bottleneck in most titles. Depending on the game, the G4560 can perform better than the 1200
