Plz help.

Go to solution Solved by Airdragonz,

You need to order a DP to hdmi cable I believe. Only the 1050ti will be able to drive any displays you got.

Hello LTT Community,

So i just recieved two HDMI monitors and I want to connect them to my pc

my GTX 1050 TI has one hdmi output and my motherboard also got an hdmi output, I have a Ryzen system,

can i plug one hdmi in the GPU and the other one in the motherboard? Or do I need to order a DisplayPort to hdmi cable?

Thanks,

~Sven

those ports on back of your motherboard are useless if you are using ryzen, since ryzen do not have an iGPU.  they are ment for A series cpu's which comes with iGPU's, so yea your 1050 ti is the only thing that can output some display on your monitors.

Microsoft in there infinite wisdom have decided to impose a VRAM cap for games the that use DX9 o.O. May God Bless them those whoever came up with that idea.

I agree with best answer. as far as I know, there’s no integrated graphics on Ryzen therefore only output via a card is possible unless using an APU in it :P
