4x4=8 Gys pls help

Alright so I've had 16GB RAM for the longest time and my R7 1700 just suddenly stopped recognising that amount. I'm so freakin confused. Any help would be massive x

Go into Windows, open System Properties and look if that reports 8 or 16 pls.

For me I would remove one of the ram. Then restart. Do it with second one.

 

If by any chance your system does not star, then the stick is defective. Do RMA . most memory have a lifetime warranty.

 

RMA = Return merchandise  authorization from manufacturer under warranty

Make sure to use the same slot for the test. Look in MB book to see what slot to use for single memory
