So I've got some footage as an mp4 recorded in 2.7k using a phantom drone, and I need some *free* software in which i can save individual frames as .jpegs. I don't want to pause and screenshot the vid as that won't be in the native res. Help appreciated!

I'm not sure whether this one compresses images, but it does it's job very well, you have a few options on how many and how often to save frames (or all frames), and it has a neat UI. Worked flawlessly for me.
