Alright, I am looking for a $250 usd or less pair of wireless headphones.  Something with good bass is preferred.  Any suggestions?

What is your use case for these headphones? Are you looking to use them for gaming? Traveling? Working out?

PC Gaming, and travelling

I would suggest that you take a look at the Bose SoundLink IIs. They have fantastic sound quality.

between soundlink and QC25 which one do you prefer?

i am afraid that the AAA batteries are too inconvenient.

If it is not broken, let's fix till it is.

QC25s are not wireless, while the Soundlink IIs are Bluetooth. The AAA batteries in the QC25s are only used for noise cancellation. I'm not a huge fan of the QC25s. They're great as a cheap noise cancelling option, but the battery life is quite poor. If you want wireless noise-canceling headphones, you'll need to step up to the QC 35s.

The AAA batteries last around 35 hours according to Bose. I used a pair back in early 2016 and found they lasted about 30-32 hours. Though that doesn't seem bad, you need to remember to physically turn noise canceling off whenever you are not using the headphones. A few times I went to use the headphones and realized that I had left them on overnight, which will drain them pretty quickly.

Since the QC35s are wireless, noise canceling is controlled by whether or not they are turned on.

I'd go with the SoundLinks. QC25s sound great when noise cancelation is on and can be a bit muted if you turn it off. SoundLinks sound good with Bluetooth and sound great if you use the included wire. If you don't care about wireless capabilities, take a look at the SoundTrue IIs. They're not as comfortable as the prior options, but have excellent sound quality for the price.

is there a physical button that I can turn off noise cancelling? or it can be done via software?

edit: also if I can get qc25 at 50% price point of soundlink, you think is it worth it?

QC35s have a button to toggle noise cancellation, QC25s have a switch. If you're worried about price, the QC25s are still a great value, regardless of its flaws. Just grab a pack of AAA rechargeable batteries along with it and you should be set.
