HELP! Mt.gox

I moved my btc over to mt.gox to sell buy found out that i need account verification I have no clue how this works.I cannot use google OPT because my phone does not support it.If some on can help me with this i will give you a payment, it is better than having all my btc locked down.

 

I really dont feel safe putting in my id information . if any one knows away around this id LOVE to hear!!

Yes, although I recommend using something other than MT. Gox.

They won't give you anything, its a legal issue.

MtGox is a financial institution, they are required to know your personal information if you do transactions to other banks.

Just about every exchange requires you to be verified for legal reasons.

 

In Canada I'd suggest this exchange https://www.cavirtex.com/home You need to get verified as well, but they are Canadian which makes it a lot easier to get money in and out.

 

Submitting personal information isn't all that new. All exchanges require verification to withdraw fiat. Some are starting to require verification before you can trade. I have a verified account on gox for 4+ months transferred alot of money in and out of it. all you need to do is take 15 min to fill out a form and send a pic of your id and a form proving you residence. not that hard tbh. If its not worth your time just abandon the account ffs.
