Alright so I have a 1070ti with a 6700k and 16 gb of ram. What is the best budget VR set that I can buy? Not HTC vive equivalent but like google daydream sort of equivalent

You can get an Oculus Rift for $379 from oculus.com. Alternatively, you can grab an Acer AH101-D8EY Mixed Reality Headset for $230, though I wouldn't recommend it based on this review.

There really aren't many budget options for VR on a PC. You're best off saving up to buy a premium headset then going with any cheap alternatives. You will not be getting the same experience.
