Holiday Traditions!?

What are some of your holiday season traditions? Which holiday(s) do you celebrate around this time of year?

I celebrate the wonderful 'Merican bastardized version of 'Christmas' you know the one where you get the gifts and shiz, My boyfriend is a Catholic and therefore celebrates the traditional Catholic Christmas so we go to Mass on Christmas as part of his tradition.

I know what you're thinking, Atheist + Catholic...How does that work? And the answer is......... I have no clue!

But anyways, those are my Holiday traditions, what are some of yours?

Korean food for mid day, Italian food at night.

Indian traditions: Fit 15 people in a car for 5 people, travel for 2hours to get to some random persons house which is apparently a relative, get kissed by some wrinkly old woman telling me how much ive grown, die of boredom, shitting myself as i just remembered that I have January exams, run out of phone battery, die again, charge the phone, text my gf, mother realises ii have a gf, get slapped because she isnt indian, eat some cruddy old curry which tastes sheetmetal, get back into the car with 15 people, travel for an hour before realising we forgot something important, go back, get home early in the morning, try to go on pc, parents unleash the secret co-op slap on my face, forced to sleep, emulate pokemon on my phone, cry myself to sleep, wake up next morning on the floor instead of my bed.

We eat all kind of things. Ham, meat, rice and so on... We usually celebrate with all my cousins and grandparents, but we exchange gifts by the family. 

Speaking of gifts, we are a kinda tech interested family, so sometimes i get Graphics cards and CPUs as gifts!

This will be first year in 11 years that I celebrate anything this season. All becuase I'm going to visit my inlaws in Moscow. So I need to read up on orthodox christian christmas traditions. But I guess part of it is freezing you ass off and drinking vodka..

when im an adult i dont think im gonna go to these events as much, they are a waste of time and my sanity just slowly rots away during them.

Oddly enough he had the same mentality, though he was certainly an adult, he had to continue the tradition or face the wrath of his strong willed, deeply traditionalist parents!
