In-game FPS

Hi! Ive just built a new pc and tried csgo out. It runs fine on ~120 fps But i feel like there must ve more fps to get out of the system Since it is a 8th gen I7 8700K cpu with a Z370H gaming motherboard, 1060 6gb OC strix gpu and 16Gb ddr4 ram. It feels like theres a bunge of power missing somewhere. Got any tips of what can cause the problem or do you think its normal?

Actually 120fps with a GTX 1060 depending on the resolution and settings is not one bit farfetched, Source is a mess with the newest hardware as well, my i7 8700 + 1080 Ti at 2560x1080p max out will fluctuate all the way from 400ish fps to 160ish fps all the freaking time with zero consistency.

 

I can not wait VALVe to quit being lazy and milking us gamers and freaking do the port to Source 2 already.

I have 1060 6GB as well and I get 200-300fps 80% of the time on 10v10 casual on 1080p. I had to lower a lot of settings though.

Connection: 200mbps / 12mbps 5Ghz wifi
