For most aftermarket coolers you'll need to attach a more robust backplate onto the backside of the motherboard around the CPU socket, this is just so the motherboard can support the new coolers weight. It's normal and should be pretty easy, I wouldn't worry.

It's not difficult. Just follow the instructions and you'll be fine.

 

Quick note on the video: Don't tighten the screws like they showed. Do it in an X pattern. (If you start with the top left, go to the bottom right, then top right, then bottom left, or top left to bottom right to bottom left to top right. That way you get better distribution of pressure. And don't tighten it down too much. Make sure it's snug, but don't go crazy.)
