Used i7-5820K?

X99 Xeons shouldn't be hard to come by at all, you can usually find them by the hundreds on Ebay.

I just got a 6800k for 200, nearly got a 5820k for the same price.

Here are some good xeons that can OC

MUST BE V3/V4

1680 8c16t

1660 6c/12t

1650 6c12t

Look atound, there a bunch of oem xeons and several more from the 16xx line you can use.  If you need a cheap cpu you can get an ES 8c/16t for about 100 bucks but it'll be locked at 1.8-2ghz

$120-130

An es xeon is your only option then, it won't game all that well though.  Might be better off with a first or second gen mainstream i7 mobo + cpu for that price

I don't think you're gonna get anything worthwhile for your budget. A Used 5820k would be an excellent choice.

Homelab - many servers...constantly changing.

An i7 860 + p55 mobo will cost you less than $100 (more for one of the good mobos) and will give a better gaming experience than any sub $200 x99 chip.

Where are you located?  I have a spare 860 + p55 board and miight be interested in a trade.

I am selling my 4790k build because I need the $$

Have you considered selling your X99 motherboard and graphics card if you needed the money? Just need to get another graphics card when you saved up in future.
