My second GPU is not detected (Mining)

Soames

If this topic already exists can you tell me and i'll delete this.

I have had one 1080ti mining perfectly fine.  I tried to add a second 1080ti and the problem is that windows 10 won't recognize the second one in device manager, it only sees one card(No SLI bridge).  I tried swaping the cards around and the computer won't boot (alone the other card works perfectly).  Next I uninstalled the drivers for both cards, reboot and it's the same situation.  How do I get windows to recognize both video cards at the same time?  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

actually, you were right the second GPU wasn't properly clipped in.  However now the computer won't start with the both GPUs installed in either order.  I'm just going to chalk this up to it being an old mobo(+ I bough it refurbished) and chipset (x58).  I'm just going to buy a new more efficient mobo and cpu to mine with that.  I was hoping to use this since it was lying around anyway, but no biggie.

Should start, even if the slot was bad it should ignore it. Asking as they both are seeing power. Unless it’s a psu issue. So not starting as it no post or shuts off right after hitting the power button?
