Hey,

 

I'm planning to build a new pc (specs underneath). For the people who know more of computers as I, is this build compatible? I'm going to use this build for gaming but maybe also for video-editing. Now i have 1 1080p monitor 144Hz, I want a second monitor but i don't now yet 4k or not. Anyways my planned specs.

Thanks for your reply, I was in doubt about taking the 600w maybe it's a good idea. (i used the calculator of coolermaster and they said 423w)

A 550W psu is enough for an i5 8600K and GTX 1080.

 

I would try and get a more powerful cooler if you plan to do a heavy overclock on the i5. Maybe something like a Cryorig H5 Universal or BeQuiet Dark Rock 3 etc if they fit in your case.

 

Also the 960 EVO could be swapped for the 850 EVO if you want to save a bit of money although it would be faster if you decide to do video editing and are moving large files around.

I'm not planning to do an overclock immediately. But if I decide to overclock it's not going to be overclocked heavely, the bequiet is to expensive for my needs but the cryorig can be an option. Thanks for your reply:)
