Go to solution Solved by OLSUS,

Solved:

- was reseating the CPU a second time

- Saw a bent pin on the socket

- bent it carefully back

- PC works.

Well... My newly buildt computer does not start... Fans are spinning, power led lights up, but q-leds(debug leds?) does not.

Things I have tried

  • Moved Ram-sticks
  • Reseated CPU
  • Removed GPU and tried use internal graphics
  • Checked all connections

My motherboard is an ASUS ROG strix Z370-F

First off, Ryzen doesn't have integrated graphics, so you must use GPU not motherboard. Put ram in correct slots. A2 and B2. Don't forget the 8-pin CPU cable, it's often overlooked. Unplug PSU from wall and remove the cmos battery for 5 minutes. With system unplugged and battery out, press the case power button a few times. Hook it all back up and try again.

Most Ryzen builds have been known to take 5 to 10 minutes for the very first post. Give it some time to post before trying something else. Most failure to post issues are memory related. Try to borrow someone's ddr4 and try it. If you get it to post, update bios to newest version as soon as possible.

CPU: Ryzen 5 5600x  Board: Asus PRIME X570-P  Ram: G.Skill Ripjaws V Series 16GB (2x8) DDR4-3000  Case: Fractal Design Define S

GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070  SSD: HP EX950 1 TB M.2-2280 NVME  HDD: Seagate Barracuda 3TB 3.5" 7200RPM

PSU: SeaSonic FOCUS Plus Platinum 750W  Cooler: Noctua NH-U12S SE-AM4  Monitor: Viotek GFT27DB 27.0" 2560x1440 144 Hz

SImilar issue, clear CMOS, reseat ram and unplug graphics card, plug it in and make sure it clicks properly. make sure your display cable is plugged into your graphics card and not your mobo.
