Cryorig r1 Ultimate

Hey guys i just bought a Cryorig R1 Ultimate with i5-6600k ( lga1151 ) and a  mobo, asus ranger viii 

i tried to mount it on the cpu yesterday but it doesn't seem to fit for some reason. the screw doesn't reach the other way of the bracket that is suppose to be on the cpu to mount the cooler in so am i doing something wrong? please help im freaking out

The R1 is definitely compatible with lga1151, so that's a bit odd. Are you sure it's facing the right way? The front fan should be facing the front of the case. Also check you're not using the AM4 mounting kit, and if you aren't double check everything to make sure it's alrighed properly.

You might need to use some force. Mounting can be difficult as cooler needs to be tight. Push down the corner you are trying to screw.

The first time I put mine on I put the little bars on that you screw the actual cooler into upside down. Made it impossible to tighten it down. Make sure those are installed correctly or you'll never get the cooler mounted.
