Corsair 570X and Threadripper Aorus Compatibility?

I have run into a dilemma that is outside of my realm of knowledge.  For a little backstory, me and my friends are planning on starting a YouTube channel.  I know it is saturated with channels but we want to do it for fun anyway.  I want a PC that can game but also work station.  We will be filming, editing, and uploading at 4K resolution so I decided to go with the AMD Threadripper 1950X.

My issue is that on Corsair's website, it says their case is only capable of housing a motherboard up to 272mm (10.70866 inch).  Does this mean in terms of height or width?  I have this confusion because on Newegg for the Aorus motherboard (My first choice), the products dimensions are 12.0" x 9.6", but on Amazon it is 14.1 x 11.6 x 3.2 inches.  With the provided dimensions I have no idea to believe.  At the bottom is a reference link with someone who has a Corsair 570X and the X399 motherboard that i am looking at.

He/She was able to get it into the case so i assume that the Newegg measurements are accurate because it fits within the parameters of Corsair but at the same time it is possible that he modded the case somehow.

The same goes for the MSI motherboard.  The measurements are also different between Newegg and Amazon (Newegg: 12.0" x 9.6", and Amazon: 13.4 x 10.6 x 3.4 inches).

Does anyone have any idea what the Corsair measurements are referencing and if this motherboard does indeed fit?

Extra Info:

- I do plan on upgrading the fans to LL120 fans on all sides.  Feel free to let me know any thoughts about this.  I know they are not as fast in terms of RPM but I have to admit I am a sucker for that RGB life.

- I also will be equipping this case with a 1080ti or higher if Nvidia releases anything better all on liquid.  there will be a 360mm and a 240mm, perhaps even a 120mm because I can put inside but I know those fans are only +/-1500rpm.

Well, for starters...why aren't you going to the source? Corsair and the site of whatever motherboard you want?
That will give you the board size.

The Amazon link sounds like you were looking at the package size, not the product size.

both mobos are standard ATX (not E-ATX or XL-ATX) as the standard 9.6" width.

so it'll fit the 570x as needed

Newegg measures the board, Amazon measures the box.

So if I want any form of measurements, besides the manufacturer website, I should reference Newegg?

I looked twice last night and could not find it and this morning, upon a third inspection of the site, I did find the measurements I was originally seeking out so I guess third times a charm?!

I feel quite stupid that I couldn't find measurements for a simple ATX motherboard yet I can configure and build a fully liquid cooled rig.
