So yeah I've been running for like a month without any kind of apps for start menu and the great win7 features, so what are the best apps for this, I googled Windows 8 start menu, and found a couple of apps but they didn't work so any recommendations?

I'm using classic shell. Seems to work just fine for me, but I've never checked any of the others out either.

Windows 8.1. It's free for Win8 users. Upgrade.

Start Screen is more powerful, than the Start Menu, and everyone that actually gave it a chance, and used it for about a month, agrees.

In what way is it more powerful, all i use the start is back is to find programs (Press super key and type). The part of the metro start menu that i don't like is that it throws you to a completely different UI environment that takes up the entire screen.

Desktop -  i5 4670k, GTX 770, Maximums VI Hero, 2X Kingston Hyper X 3k in raid zero.

Laptop - Lenovo X230 Intel 535 480GB, 16GB Gskill memory, Classic Keyboard Mod, Triple USB 3.0 Express Card.
