Ms Word Margins

Hello guys i have to complete an assignment . please help

All pages, except the title page, are numbered in the lower margin 1.25 cm or 0.5 inches from the
bottom of the page and centered between the left and right page margins.

 

but they said that the  bottom margins should be 2.5 CM. can i achieve both numbering in 1.25CM and margin 2.5 CM at once. is there a way to change the footer size or anything?

how can i achieve this on ms word??

I don't know much about how word works and I'm in the U.S. so we use inches but I think you might find what you're looking for in "Layout" margins section of word. Choose custom margins.

Margin means space between page edge and normal text. Numbering would be placed 1.25cm from page edge or at half way in footer. You can do rhat fairly easy with Word. Just select that first page is different or make it another part of document.
